Hello! I’m Emma Kate, the business owner and chef behind the doors of EKB Catering.

I’ve been part of the Winnipeg hospitality industry for as long as I can remember — it’s truly where my heart is. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in some of Winnipeg’s most beloved restaurants, including Pineridge Hollow, Sous Sol, and Carnival, where I learned, grew, and developed a deep love for creating memorable food experiences.

After taking a few years off to raise my two wonderful children (the greatest joy of my life!), I felt a calling to return to the kitchen — this time, to build something of my own. With the unwavering support of my husband, Daniel, and more than a few long nights, tears, and triumphs, EKB was born.

Today, we’re thrilled to share our full-service catering trailer and business with you! Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate event, market, private party, or anything in between, we’d love to be part of your celebration.

In addition to event catering, we also offer ready-to-order items through our website — from weekly meal prep to holiday baking and birthday desserts. Whatever the occasion, we’re here to make it delicious and effortless.
